Mom and Dad
On Thursday I’ll be getting a delivery of clothes, boots, Emergen-C packets and my parents.
If I had been in Athens this semester, this is just about the time I’d be heading north for my fix of Blue Jay’s apple cider, foliage, pumpkin ice cream, VM deli sandwiches, chilly walks at Compo Beach, “real pizza” and a greasy fix at the Luncheonette.
This year is a little different, there’s still cider and foliage in the mix, but we’re adding some English accents, lots of walking and of course, some potatoes. I can’t wait to show them where I’ve been living, try out the good restaurants, and have them meet my wonderful friends here!
