J.Crew Favorites
One of the many things I’ve had to cut out of my life cold-turkey while in England has been J.Crew. I finally gave in and checked out the latest women’s collection…

Solid snood. Gray. $49.

Suede MacAllister Boot. $135.

Lisette lace shell. $98.

Highland puffer vest. $118.

Dream Zip Henley. $98.

Sequin Mesh bell skirt. $128.

Vintage pajama set. $69.50.

Authier wool pom-pom hat. $88.

At first I thought this idea was pretty cool– they brought Hunter boots, Aigle, Jack Purcell, Belstaff and Barbour back to the general public. But some of the brands they’ve decided to include are a little superfluous and frankly, don’t really “mix” with the overall image of J.Crew…
Like these…
Swarovski crystal encrusted Tweezerman tweezers. $100. Seriously? Why not just go to the salon. Also on there a little unnecessarily… Essie Nail Polish and Bobbi Brown lipstick.
One of my favorite “in good company” items has been my Timex watch.

With interchangeable ribbon straps, a sturdy look and a solid reputation, this has been one of my favorite pieces to go to for more casual occasions.
