Paris, I Love You

Bon jour Septembre! Ok there are so many reasons to love September… and here is where my Yankee roots will shine through because <gasp> football season is NOT on this list… 

  1. MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!
  2. Back to school! (I absolutely went to Staples weeks before classes even started to make sure I had the ‘prettiest’ supplies and was able to organize it all well in advance… yes I realize how nerdy that makes me. Whatever.) 
  3. Indian Summer! Some warm days where you can still justify wearing a bikini on the beach… and crisp nights where you need a sweater or a light fleece. Ahh… 
  4. Soups! My roommates can attest to how much I enjoyed making soup & chili last fall… there’s nothing better!
  5. Fall flavored things! Pumpkin ice cream at Scoops, need I say more? There’s also the apple cider, apple donuts, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.

I have already been lucky enough to spend one of my birthdays in beautiful Paris, and if all works out, it looks like I’ll be there again this year! One of my favorite cities (mille feuille, baguette, fromage, macaroons, steak frites, chateaubriand, crepes… need I go on?) it also embodies Autumn to me more than any other city. 

Here’s what I think of when I think… Paris!
